Project Management :

Competing demands for scope, time, cost, risk and quality
Stakeholders with differing needs and expectations
Identified requirements

The Project Manager plays a very critical role in managing the project. Depending on the organization structure, the authority and responsibility of the Project Manager may vary.

Over time, the Project Management role has evolved into a well defined discipline that encompasses all the different activities and skill-sets required for successful implementation of a project.
