Exam Environment Requirements
Ensure your system meets these technical and environmental requirements before starting your proctored 6sigmastudy™ examination to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted experience.
Webcam
A high-quality webcam is mandatory for all proctored exams. It must be correctly situated to focus on the individual taking the exam at all times with no obstructions covering the lens.
Internet
A stable internet connection is required for continuous exam access. You must use a desktop or laptop equipped with speakers and a microphone to interact with the proctoring platform.
Browser
Exams are conducted through modern web browsers. Proctored examinations specifically utilize the Google Meet-based proctor system. Ensure no other websites, applications (like Excel or Word), or other computers are running in the room.
Quiet Room
Choose a secure, well-lit, and quiet environment. You must sit at a clean desk or table—not a bed or sofa—free of any books, papers, or electronic devices unless specifically permitted. No other people or background music are allowed in the room.
Certification Validity
6sigmastudy™ certifications are designed to ensure practitioners elevate their careers with evolving global quality standards and the latest practices in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
Validity Period
6sigmastudy™ professional certifications (such as SSGB™ and SSBB™) remain valid for a period of three calendar years from the date of issue, ensuring your skills stay sharp and relevant to changing industry demands.
Recertification
You can maintain your active status by earning Recertification Credits (RCs) or by passing a specific Recertification Exam before your current credential expires. Alternatively, advancing to a higher-level certification automatically recertifies your lower-level credentials for another three years.
Continuous Learning
Practitioners can maintain their standing by participating in ongoing professional development, which includes accumulating professional credits through continuous learning activities, industry management seminars, or contributing to the Six Sigma community.
